1. Use coal as the heat source of the sawdust dryer. This type of heat source uses coal as fuel, and through heating and combustion, the heat enters the wood chip drying drum under the action of a blower to realize the heat exchange between the material and the high-temperature flue gas. This method of using coal as a heat source is a common choice in current drying operations.
However, when coal is used as a heat source, the staff must add the amount of coal to the combustion furnace according to the quality of the coal and the calorific value produced to ensure the stability of the heat and temperature in the wood chip dryer drum.
2. Use steam to heat. In the drying operation, the steam formed by adding water to the boiler is used as the drying medium of the dryer. Under normal circumstances, the steam heating method requires two simple heating. Although it can ensure the cleanliness of the material, the thermal efficiency is very low.
3. Choose gas as the heat source equipment. Using gas as a heat source is also a more common way at present. This depends on the resource environment and production conditions of the user's location. Both the gas heating method and the electricity as the heat source have a certain degree of cleanliness, which can well meet the user's requirements for material cleanliness.
The rationality of the heat source selection of the dryer is directly related to the quality and efficiency of wood chip drying, and the design to the user's cost investment. Therefore, when we select the heat source for the sawdust dryer, we must consider the resources of our own location and the control of the material drying requirements, and choose the appropriate heat source equipment.
