Mesh belt dryer is a drying equipment that uses a steel mesh as a transmission belt to carry materials through electric heating, steam heating, natural gas heating, etc. for continuous drying.
Mesh belt dryers are widely used in industry and are mainly used to dry small pieces of materials and fibrous materials. In short, the material dried by the belt dryer must have a certain shape, and it must still maintain a certain shape after drying.
It is suitable for commercial crops such as lumps, strips, flakes, and granules, such as: onions, garlic, peppers, apricots, melon seeds, peanuts, sweet potatoes, potatoes, cassava, wolfberry, red dates, herbs, melons, vegetables, fruits, etc.
Mesh belt dryer is a continuous drying equipment for batch production. It is used for drying flake, strip and granular materials with good air permeability. It is especially suitable for materials whose temperature is not allowed to be high; this series of dryers have the advantages of fast drying speed, high evaporation intensity, and good product quality. For paste materials such as dehydrated filter cakes, they need to be granulated or made into strips before drying.
Materials are uniformly put on the mesh-belt by the feeder. The mesh-belt uses generally 12-60 mesh stainless steel wire net and it is drawn and moved inside the drier by a transmission device. The drier is composed of several units. For each unit, the hot air is circulated separately. Some exhausted gas is discharged with a special moisture elimination blower. The waste gas is controlled through an adjustment valve. The hot air passes through the mesh-belt covered with the material from the top to the bottom or from the bottom to the top and this will complete the heat and mass transfer process. This process will bring the material water away. The mesh-belt moves slowly, running speed can be freely adjusted according to the material temperature. The final products after drying will fall into the material collector continuously. The top and low circulation units can be freely equipped according to the users’ demand. The unit number can be selected according to the demand.
The belt dryer consists of several independent unit sections. Each unit section includes circulation fans, heating devices, individual or common fresh air intake systems and exhaust exhaust systems. The operating parameters of the amount of drying medium, temperature, humidity and exhaust gas circulation can be independently controlled, so as to ensure the reliability of the dryer and the optimization of operating conditions.
